PA to SLT

Job Title:                    PA to Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
                                         36 hours per week, term-time only plus 2 days in August for                                                 exams results.
Reports to:                PA to Headteacher
Salary:                     Starting salary NJC scale 4, scale point 7, pro-rata salary:                                                       £25,111 pa  (FTE  £29,346)
                                      Rising to NJC scale 4, scale point 11, pro-rata salary:   £26,590 pa                                     (FTE  £31,074)
Working Days:         5 days per week, 36 hours per week, 39.02 weeks per year,                                                     (term time only).
Working Hours:       8.15am – 4.00pm  (3.45pm on Friday).
Place of Work:          Vyners School
Start date:               As soon as possible                 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a PA to the  SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM (SLT).  The successful applicant will provide an efficient administrative service to the SLT; in particular the two deputy headteachers.   Working with the Headteacher’s PA, this is an ideal opportunity for an experienced, calm, confident and proactive person who wishes to develop their organisational, administrative and PA experience.  Previous experience of working in a school is desirable but not essential.

Vyners is a very popular and oversubscribed mixed eight form entry, 11-18 comprehensive school, situated in a pleasant residential area in North West London, bordering Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.    We have a track record of real success at all Key Stages.  We are well known for high academic standards, good behaviour, and our strong community spirit including a strong house system with students leading their peers.  “Pupils have a positive attitude towards their work and enjoy learning” (Ofsted 2019).  Many students are involved in extracurricular sport, music and drama, performing at a high level including prestigious public events and performing in our own school productions.
