Environmental Sustainability Week
Environmental Sustainability Week - 11th to 15th November 2024
Vanguard Learning Trust’s second environmental sustainability week will take place from Monday 11th to Friday 15th November 2024.
Throughout the week, there will be a number of Trust-wide and school-based activities that staff, students and their families can all participate in.
There are a number of aims for the week, primarily to continue to raise awareness of environmental sustainability and work together as a Trust-wide community towards a common goal.
The evaluation of the week will be based on three objectives that have been agreed; these are:
- to understand the global commitment and response to climate change;
- to increase participation in the Trust-wide environmental sustainability week in particular reusing items to reduce our carbon footprint; and
- to reduce our carbon footprint.
